Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
This qualification is designed to enhanced key skills and knowledge as a professional while providing expert insights to become effective leader. Students will learn to apply appropriate judgement and initiative in order to response to complex situation and deliver consistent results no matter which organisation or and industry.
This is also designed for those professionals who are required to apply specialised leadership and management knowledge and skills and enables them to effectively leverage their professional experience. It also designed to enable you to apply creative and conceptual skills, express ideas and respond appropriately to complex problems.
The course provides students core leadership knowledge allowing them to gain management skills associated with planning, implementation and evaluation of business function.

Moving on to further study
After achieving BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management individuals can progress to BSB80320 – Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership individuals or higher education qualifications such as a Bachelor of Business.
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
Or
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
