How to Apply to ALIT
Our admissions process is designed to be simple, transparent and supportive. Follow the steps below — click each one to expand the details. All information provided at every stage will be truthful and ethical.
Before you apply, we want you to have all the information you need to make the right choice. Contact us via phone, email, or directly on our website at alit.edu.au.
We will provide you with a copy of the Student Handbook and the ALIT Course Brochure, which contain crucial details about:
- Our programs and courses
- Admission requirements and enrolment procedures
- Visa eligibility information
- Information on living in Australia
- Refund policies and appeals procedures
Applying to ALIT is simple. You can complete your application in one of two ways — through our online portal or in person at our campus.
ALIT's integrated application portal lets you complete the entire process online from anywhere.

1Choose your course and intakeBrowse course pages to review entry requirements. Choose the intake you want to enrol in and click the "Enrol" button. Note: you can only be enrolled in one course at a time, so choose carefully.

2Fill out the online formComplete the form in the specific order provided. All mandatory fields must be filled before you can proceed. You can save and return to edit until you submit.

3Review and submitOnce your form is complete, review all details carefully. When everything is correct, click the "Submit" button to send your application.

1Download the application formDownload the student application form from the Downloads page on the ALIT website.

2Fill out the formComplete each field carefully after reading all instructions. You may fill it digitally or print and complete it by hand.

3Submit your documentsOnce all documents are ready and the form is properly filled out, submit everything to the ALIT office in person.
As soon as we receive your application, our admissions team will review it against the course requirements and determine the next steps.
Once all required documents and information are received and verified, you will proceed to the interview stage.
An ALIT enrolment officer will contact you to schedule your Course Entry Interview. The interview can be conducted:
- In person at our campus
- Over the phone
- Via Skype or video call
Carefully read your Unconditional Letter of Offer and Student Agreement in full. Confirm that all pertinent information is accurate, including:
- Course fees and payment schedule
- Course duration and start date
- All terms and conditions
Once you are satisfied, sign the agreement and submit payment as outlined. ALIT will record and acknowledge receipt of your payment.
Once ALIT has received and confirmed your payment, signed Letter of Offer, and Student Agreement, we will issue your Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE).
The eCOE will be sent to you and/or your agent by email and is a key document required for your student visa application.
Your course start date will be communicated in your eCOE email. Unless otherwise specified, you must be at the ALIT Campus by 9:00 AM on the first day.
During the induction programme you will be asked to confirm:
- Personal and housing details
- Contact information (mobile number and email address)
- Next-of-kin information
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- Individual needs and requirements
- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
