FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to what students ask most about entry, fees and getting started.

Do I need to meet the entry requirements before I apply?

No — apply first. Entry requirements (like the Pre-Training Review and LLN check) are assessed as part of the application, not before it. An advisor can tell you early on if a course looks like a good fit.

What is the LLN assessment and do I book it separately?

The Language, Literacy and Numeracy check is a short online assessment built into the apply flow — it takes about 20 minutes and gives instant feedback. There's no separate booking or extra step.

Can I pay my course fees in instalments?

Most qualification courses offer a payment plan alongside the upfront domestic price. Exact eligibility depends on your residency status and course — an advisor can confirm what applies to you.

Can I study this course as an international student?

Courses showing a CRICOS code are open to international students on a student visa, with a separate indicative fee and visa-compliant study load. Courses without a CRICOS code are for domestic students only.

Will I get credit for previous study or work experience?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer are assessed case-by-case once you apply, based on your previous qualifications or relevant industry experience. Speak to an advisor to find out what could apply to you.

When can I start, and how flexible are the intake dates?

Most courses run monthly intakes, so you don't need to wait for a fixed semester start. Your offer letter will confirm the exact date once your application and LLN check are complete.
