Advice for onshore international students
International students currently enrolled with another provider must continue that enrolment unless transferring their principal enrolment to ALIT. Transfers are only available where one or more of the following apply:
→The student has completed six months of their principal course.
→The releasing provider, or the course, has ceased to be registered.
→The releasing provider has had a sanction imposed by ASQA that prevents the student from continuing.
→The releasing provider agreed to the student's release and recorded the date and reason in PRISMS.
→A government sponsor considers the change to be in the student's best interest and has provided written support.
