How do I enrol in a course at ALIT?
You can enrol by completing our online enrolment form available on the Resources page, or by visiting us in person at either of our Melbourne campuses. Our admissions team will guide you through the process and confirm your eligibility before you commence.
What documents do I need to bring for enrolment?
You will need proof of identity (passport or Australian driver's licence), proof of your highest level of education (transcripts or certificates), and a Unique Student Identifier (USI). International students must also provide current visa documentation.
Are courses available online or only on campus?
ALIT offers both on-campus and blended learning options depending on the course. Some theory units can be completed online, while practical components are delivered at our Melbourne campuses. Contact us to confirm the delivery mode for your specific qualification.
How long does it take to receive a response after enquiring?
Our team typically responds to all enquiries within one business day. During peak enrolment periods (January–February and July) response times may be slightly longer. For urgent matters, please call us directly during office hours.
Can I get Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?
Yes. ALIT offers RPL assessments for all qualifications. If you have existing skills, knowledge, or experience gained through prior study or work, you may be eligible to have these formally recognised — reducing the time required to complete your qualification.
What payment options and fee assistance are available?
We accept upfront payment, payment plans, and a range of government-subsidised training options. Eligible students may access VET Student Loans or state-funded subsidies. Our student services team can advise you on the options available for your course and circumstances.
